The AP Poll for the preseason top 25 was recently released, and I noticed something different. You remember when that that conference out west use to get like 5 to 6 teams, yeah that one, the Pac-10. This year's preseason poll only has two teams from that power conference. Which two teams do you think it is, Arizona and UCLA? Wrong. The two teams from the west coast are Washington and California. Yeah you know these two, Brandon Roy and Jason Kidd stomping grounds. Well they are back, and looking a lot better than recent years. Washington has returning stud Isaiah Thomas and McDonald's All-American Abdul Gaddy in their backcourt. The Golden Bears have the the senior leadership of, returning leading scorer at 5'10, Jerome Randle, and his backcourt mate, Patrick Christopher. These are not just any ordinary backcourts, they are the type of guard play that gets you deep into the field of 65. And thats exactly where these two Pac-10 teams hope to end up..
